Video 3 Summary:
In this lesson we start to focus on an entirely new visual effects shot - and take the entire shot through from start to finish. We cover a lot in a short amount of time - and it's a chance to really encapsulate a lot of concepts quickly that we are going to apply on a much bigger scale in the coming lessons. This is just the tip of the iceberg!
Stick with this as this is just Video 3 of 10. Every few days I will send you another video (if you somehow stumbled across this page - to get all videos, and scene files, go to www.AvengersCourse.com)
Here are answers to some frequently asked questions:
Where do I download TyFlow?
TyFlow is in BETA and is FREE to download right now - you can access it here.
When is the next video coming out?
I am recording these lessons in realtime - so as I finish them I will release them. Check your inbox regularly for emails from me pertaining to this free course.
Typically I will send you a video every 2-3 days.
Is this course really going to expire?
Yes. This course is only available until July 21st. I am creating this content for us all to go through together.
More than likely this course will be available for sale for $500-$1,000 down the line - but it's free for you to consume now. Make the most of the training while it's available. After this it goes back into the FXTD Mentorship vault.
What kind of computer specs/hardware do I need?
Typically any gaming PC is acceptable. No less than 16GB of RAM is recommended. More RAM the better (videos are recorded with 64GB of RAM).
Where do I get the files for this lesson?
All scene files will be located at the top of the page 'under' the video. Keep an eye out, as each video will contain the individual files needed for these lessons.
Are there more files coming?
Yes! Each video released will have new files based on the needs of that particular lesson.
Do I need to do this training in 3DS Max?
You're welcome to do this training in other 3D packages. Ultimately the process is identical in every 3D package. Whether it's Maya, Cinema4D, Houdini, Blender or POV-Ray (you remember POV-Ray right?) Just follow the steps and apply it in your package of choice - if you're up to the challenge!
This training is GREAT! Can I do anything to say thanks?
First of all thank you - I literally took an entire month to put this out, hired a team of artists to put this together - and I've been working 18 hour days without a day off since I started.
I do this because I want to give back, I want others to get results and grow - and I know that us all going through this together from now until July 21st, creates an opportunity for us all to really be motivated to level up our skills and our career.
The same way I intend to do daily live streams and try to respond to as much email as possible.
If you do want to help, if you do want to say thanks - please share this link (www.AvengersCourse.com) with others so they can sign up and go through this training with us. That's the most I can ask. Thank you
